The camp is conducted by music teacher Joanna Juks and dance teacher Hedi Kuhlap.
Joanna Juks – “I graduated from Tallinn Music High School with a degree in violin and choral conducting, but I discovered that my heart was more drawn to jazz music. I went on to study music pedagogy at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, majoring in rhythm music. Then I studied jazz singing at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest for another year. In addition to the above, I also learned the ukulele, guitar, and bass guitar. Teaching music and making music myself plays a big role in my daily life. My goal is to infect everyone interested with the musical germ, which expands creativity, opens up a new way of self-expression, and helps bring like-minded people together. Since I have worked with different styles and instruments, I base my teaching on the child’s interests.”
Hedi Kuhlap – a dedicated children's dance coach who aims to inspire young dancers to discover the magic, confidence and joy of movement. In her classes, children can not only learn different dance styles, but also develop coordination, sense of rhythm and creativity. The coach believes that each child is unique, which is why she adapts her teaching methods to the needs of her students so that everyone can feel confident and supported in dance classes. The classes are full of positive energy, creativity and a motivating atmosphere. She is able to create a safe and inspiring environment where children can freely express their feelings and develop their skills step by step. In addition to technical development, Hedi also considers teamwork, discipline and joy to be important, which help children grow not only as dancers, but also as confident and determined people.
